Dallas-Based Wealth Management Firm Selected for Practice Management and CEO Honors

This year, Prospera was announced as a finalist in the Practice Management category for its Protect Engagement online tool. This tool is updated weekly and encourages advisors to meet their compliance requirements throughout the year. Advisors receive guidance on how to improve their rankings in various categories, such as CE training, engagement in internal communications, sales literature, and more.

The firm was also named a finalist in the CEO of the Year category. After teaming up as co-CEO of Prospera in early 2021, David Cordier and Tim Edwards together were named finalists. Both have held various senior positions within the firm for decades and now share the firm’s highest title, each with their own set of departments that they oversee. Tim focuses more on the growth side of the business, while David focuses more on the operational and back-office areas of the business. As part of this structure, the pair helped shape and expand the leadership team, create synergies between departments and transfer a record number of advisers to the firm.
